Mens Jeans; Wrangler; American Classic Jeans

Wrangler Jeans

Honestly, growing up on the Northern East Coast, I wouldn't have gone near a pair of these. Blind snobbery will get you nowhere... I admit, I missed some great opportunities...

Why am I writing about Wrangler Jeans among all of the designer brand jeans? Simple. While watching the Patriots beat the Jets, I saw an ad where Brett Favre was endorsing these American classics. If they are good enough for Brett, they are certainly good enough for me.

Who wants to make dump runs in designer jeans? Why slap on a pair of $250 dungarees to watch the game with the guys?
Besides, what's more American that jeans that were originally made for cowboys?

I've seen Wranglers on sale for under $15 at Walmart, and under $30 pretty much anywhere else.

Unless you are some sort of Nancy-boy, get 3 pair for everyday use - save the wear and tear on your "goin' out jeans" - and save a good amout of cash to put toward a pair of Evisu Genes to wear when the ladies are looking.

Did I mention? Wrangler jeans are more popular worldwide than most any other men's jeans on the planet. I call that a pretty solid vote of confidence.
These Genuine Wrangler Regular Fit Jeans, Dark Denim can be has for a mere $22.99. Sweet deal.

Mens Evisu Jeans; Evisu European Vintage Denim Jeans

Mens Evisu Genes

OK, so what's all the fuss about Evisu Jeans? They are in extremely high demand, so I decided I needed to know why.

What did I find out? Some guy (Hidehiko Yamane) decided he needed to make the best jeans possible and set out to do so. Crafting the first Evisu jeans on a 1950's loom and handpainting the logo on himself... (apparently, the craftemenship of vintage jeans was superior due to this process, which is why the old loom)

The quality of the denim and the craftsmanship soon made this product extremely sought after. To this day Evisu (even though they are now made in Italy, not Japan) are synonmous with what high quality, high fashion jeans are all about.

As soon as I scrape up the 388 bucks, I'm going to find out for myself if they are everything they are cracked up to be.

This pair; Evisu European edition "Vintage cut" denim jeans is available for just that price at jbgrady.com. I chose these because I l ike the color and the logo isn't nearly as overstated as can be seen on many other pair of Evisus. What can I say, I'm a simple guy.

There are actually much better deals available, but I didn't like them nearly as much as the look of this pair of jeans.

Men's Seven (7) for all Mankind Jeans; Punk Studded Slim

Uh ...um....REALLY? Did they let someone sniff a bunch of glue over at Seven Jeans and them let them go berzerk with some sidewalk chalk and a Bedazzler?

Honestly, I'm shocked. Appalled ... and more than a little nauseated by the "Punk Studded Slim jeans. Oh, where to begin?

Punk? Really? I have never really considered Seven Jeans to be anti-establishment, and this ain't helpin'.

Looks more like a billboard for gay male prostitution ...

Men's Diesel Jeans; Diesel Slammer

Climbing up the "Diesel Jean Popularity Chart" is the Diesel Slammer (for men).

Why? Well for starters - the fit. It fits just as a pair of mens jeans should (go figure). Not baggy, not tight. To boot, the washes available for the slammer (namely 73H, 8RG, 8FC,73J & 8II)mean that when you combine the fit and the different styles, the slammer is ready for whatever you may have on your agenda.

I chose to feature the 8FC here in the photo, but really any of them could easily find their way into my closet (and hopefully will). The Slammer 8FC here looks a little on the bright blue side, but I am totally digging the way they are worn. I'm thinking it will only be a couple of weeks until I have 'em just as I want 'em.

Snag your own for just $253 at JBGrady.com, or see the full list of Diesel Slammers here.

Mens Hollister Jeans - Hermosa Bootcut Destroyed

Mens Hollister Jeans

Hermosa Bootcut Destroyed

Although my mother would not agree with me, this is an awsome looking pair of jeans. Love the color, the boot cut fit and the extremely warn denim.

The destroyed look fits in just about anywhere today - not just for fixing your car or mowing the lawn. Men can be seen all over Hollywood and the hottest spots in Las Vegas wearing destroyed jeans - either with screen printed tees for a casual look, or a sharp button up for that ultra cool relaxed, comfortable but "who needs khakis" blase-faire thing.

The first look is great for schlepping around town - the second can be seen in the most happening nightspots, clubs and restaurants. (yes, even restaurants - perfect for the "no jacket required" vibe that formally stuffy establishments are trying to give off. These Hermosa Boot Cut Destroyed jobs by Hollister fit the bill in either case.

Not your type of thing? No issue. Men's Hollister jeans come in a variey of colors, fits & styles and are always a handsome addition to any man's wardrobe.

Skip the middle man and buy them directly from Hollister for a measley $59.50.

True Religion Jeans - Mens Joey

True Religion Joey for Men. Identity Crisis

Joey's got a problem he's out of control. (Anyone remember that old punk tune? OK, OK - that was Johnny - but you are picking up what I'm putting down, yes?)

Don't get me wrong, I love True Religion Jeans, but there are some styles I love and some, quite frankly, that I (and most everyone else, I imagine) can do without. Take Joey here for example. Great jeans, just not in all styles.

True Religion Joey Bandit

(above) Jon Bon Jovi called ... he wants his 1983 wardrobe back.

C'mon, really? Your gonna spend your hard earned cash on these? Are they hiring where you work? Cuz they are paying you far too much money. Anyway, if you are into it - Lucky you! on sale now for only $215 ... down from the original price of $262 at InTrends. Then go fire up your Flying V and air guitar along with that Winger album you've been wearing out, dude.

True Religion Joey Big T

(above) OK, this is how you rock it in this century!

Torn but not tattered. Dark not super-bleached.... and a little leg room to boot. The contrast stitching is a great touch ... and looks really sharp on the back pockets. For added laughs, these kick @ss jeans can be had at the fraction of the price of Joey's hairband alterego -just $170. Also at InTrends

Oh, that's just the start ... but those are the biggest swings in True Religion Joey's personailties. See them all at Shop For Clothes ... True Religion Joey for Men.

What can I say ... that Joey is a freak!
